We have been up to a lot at The Montana Education Program.
The students ran a successful supplies drive for the Livingston HRDC Warming Center. We received donations of money, hats, socks, toiletries, shoes, boots and other supplies to help those who visit the warming center have the things they need.
We had the fun opportunity to get involved with The Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch to wrap Christmas presents for Operation Christmas Caring. This program supports families in purchasing Christmas gifts for kids. The gifts are wrapped and delivered to each home by the Livingston Police Department. The students had a great time listening to Christmas music and wrapping gifts for kids in our community.
During the holiday break, we received cubbies, a tool bench and other supplies to give the students more experiences in 2023.
Since returning after the holidays, the kids have made the phases of the moon with Oreos, built solar robots, created vision boards / mantra boards fro 2023, and have had discussions about self-management and journaled about experiences.
